This dining table was created to fulfill our clients' love for natural wood while at the same time keeping the design clean and modern to match the rest of their interior space. The top was made of three boards milled from one 22ft long slab of American Black Walnut and joined seamlessly to achieve a single slab look. The legs are welded steel burnished to a raw finish. They attach using machine screws that screw into threaded inserts in the bottom of the top. This allows the legs and top to come apart endlessly without compromising their connection over time.

BLVD. Ping Pong Table
This piece was design and created out of my affection for Table Tennis and is great for both commercial and residential applications. The linkage detail for the base's lateral support was inspired by The Route 1 overpass here in Philadelphia, which is more commonly known as "The Boulevard". The top is made out of 3/4" MDF covered with an industrial strength laminate and finished it off with a hand painted borderline.

Buffalo Coffee Table
With this piece I decided to design useable a bi-product. These "skeletons" are what usually get scrapped and recycled, but, with a little extra design and fabrication I am able to use every part of the "buffalo" and end up with a stylish interior solution. This simple yet sturdy narrow coffee table is perfect for railroad style interior as a coffee table or extra bench seating. It provides plenty of surface area without taking up too large of a foot print. In addition the shelves below act as great storage for a laptop and reading material. It is constructed of 3/16" laser cut steel, welded together and reinforced on the underside for extra strength. It features adjustable feet and is finished as "raw" steel with a Polyurethane coating. Custom Powder coated options available.

Saldutti Media Console
I design this piece while working with Whitcomb & Company in Seattle. I used reclaimed floor boards from a train station in Oregon and Angle Steel to achieve a very industrial yet urban aesthetic. Whether this piece is housing a prized vinyl collection, flat screen with a gaming console or used as an entry way bench with shoe storage, one thing is for sure, it will be able to handle it.

This dinette is part of the Eighty8 collection. With this design I wanted to explore a new way to implement Angle Steel, a widely used material. My chosen orientation allows the light to define it's angular properties, giving it an architectural appeal. The powder coated steel and the reclaimed Southern Heart Pine are very rich together. This dinette was designed with a small breakfast nook or small dining room in mind, which are common in urban Philadelphia. My motivation was to design and create a foundation for the top, this can be an outdoor table with a steel top or many different woods. The powder coated base can be any custom color desired. Variety is the spice of life right?

Eighty8 high top
This piece was design specifically for a small kitchen with limited counter space. The top is 1.5" highly figured Tiger Maple and the base is a custom powder coating,'Mona Pink'. The motivation behind this piece was to create a dining table that can also be used to prepare the meal and when it is moved to a new location (with a larger kitchen) it is still a very useful work surface.

Each set of legs features a very solid TIG welded construction as well as hidden adjustable feet.
C channel coffee table
This piece is made from reclaimed C channel steel. Furniture design and making can be very Left-Brained and mathematical. This piece allowed me to create as I go following the loose structure of, it will be a coffee table. A sculptural release if you will.

35mm Camera lights
They will spend the rest of their time omitting the light that they spent their lives taking in.
The 35MM Light was created as a homage to the dying art of film photography. My grandfather gave my my first 35mm SLR (with a broken light meter) and showed my how to use it. I was very lucky to have spent time in the dark room learning to develop film and prints. As time went on digital photography took over and there was a surplus of broken film cameras I use only broken cameras and even that is difficult for me to do. These machines are amazing displays of engineering and craftsmenship.
